Van Cleef & Arpels took center stage at Dubai Watch Week 2025, presenting an enchanting display of artistry and innovation with its Poetry of Time exhibition. The Maison transformed the venue into a world where imagination and mechanical mastery meet, inviting visitors on a journey through the delicate intersections of craftsmanship, emotion, and storytelling.
From ballerinas and fairies to Poetic Astronomy, love stories, and Enchanted Nature, the immersive exhibition brought Van Cleef & Arpels’ signature universes to life. Every dial told a tale, every creation showcased a marriage of precision and beauty. Archival documents and patrimonial pieces were on view in a cabinet of curiosities, while four central workbenches offered a rare glimpse into the artisans’ meticulous processes.
Among the highlights was the Brassée de Lavande automaton, the latest addition to the Extraordinary Objects collection. A lavender corolla slowly unfurls to reveal a fluttering butterfly, accompanied by a delicate melody, a poetic homage to the wonders of flora and fauna. The piece exemplifies the Maison’s philosophy of the Poetry of Time, where technical ingenuity becomes an instrument of artistic wonder.
Through its participation at Dubai Watch Week, Van Cleef & Arpels underscored its dedication to preserving and transmitting rare savoir-faire, blending innovation, creativity, and poetry in every creation.
