How INFINITI Is Doubling Down On The UAE’s Love For SUVs

SUVs and the UAE have a love affair that is ongoing and enduring. Whether it is late night tea runs in Jumeirah or winter weekends in the desert, the big car is just non-negotiable, and INFINITI’s A Journey Beyond evening at Armani Hotel Dubai inside Burj Khalifa was very clearly reminding us of that.

The brand shared its next move for the region, unveiling the QX80 Sport grade, presenting the updated 2026 QX60 and the new QX60 Sport, giving the QX65 Monograph its regional debut, and introducing INFINITI BEYOND, a membership created for QX80 owners in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

INFINITI calls that membership its “New Dawn” in the Middle East, since BEYOND is reserved for QX80 owners across the GCC and is built around community, wellbeing, and mobility. In real terms, that would mean chef-led dinners, cultural workshops, wellness sessions, private gatherings, and seasonal launches for the members. Additionally, they would also be treated to select spa and club partners in Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha. A dedicated app has also been announced, where members see what is coming up, book experiences, redeem benefits, and are able to tap into wellbeing content.

For anyone who turned up for the motoring element of it all, the QX80 Sport made a confident case for itself as the flagship statement, its full size proportions sharpened by darker chrome, a stronger take on the double arch grille, and black exterior details that give the SUV a solid presence. Inside, the focus on modern Japanese luxury plays out in soft leather, open pore wood, and large screens with Google built in that sit alongside premium audio and intelligent climate tech, while a twin turbocharged V6, a nine speed automatic transmission, and All Wheel Drive keep the drive feeling composed whether the route is a long highway stretch or a rougher terrain.

Alongside it, the 2026 QX60 and the new QX60 Sport grade take on that unmistakably INFINITI look with their bamboo-inspired grille, piano key lighting, and natural colour palette, while the three row cabin layers in intuitive tech and assistance systems that will hopefully take some of the edge off the post-work traffic and late airport runs. The QX65 Monograph closes the loop with a fastback profile that nods to the original FX and a bamboo textured grille framed by full width lighting, a concept that feels like a design postcard from the near future and hints at how this SUV love story could continue across the UAE’s roads.
