The emirate’s main airports, Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC), have returned to normal following the adverse weather conditions experienced between December 18 and 19, confirmed a Dubai Airports spokesperson.
Arrivals and departures are operating as planned with only a limited number of connecting flights still being cleared.
Safety remained stable throughout the period.
Dubai Airports maintained safety through a coordinated response
The coordinated response across the oneDXB community ensured welfare remained a priority, with impacted guests supported through hotel accommodation, lounge access and ground transport, the spokesperson said.
Dubai Airports has advised guests to check their flight status with their airline and plan their route to the airport in advance using real-time traffic updates.
