Rancho Mission Viejo officials today announced the release of 175 new two-story detached homes now selling in three new neighborhoods by distinguished homebuilders, Trumark Homes and Shea Homes. The grand opening celebration, held Sunday, June 22, and was attended by more than 800 potential homebuyers.
“The Village of Rienda represents one of the last opportunities to purchase an attainable home in Orange County’s largest master-planned community,” said Stephanie Walker, Vice President of Marketing for Rancho Mission Viejo. “This newest phase offers the largest and most spacious single-family homes in Rancho Mission Viejo built to date. We enjoyed welcoming hundreds of prospective residents to our Grand Opening and highlighting all the unique features that make living on The Ranch so special, from the unmatched amenities to the strong sense of community that defines Rancho Mission Viejo.”
The three new all-age neighborhoods include:
- Sapphire by Trumark Homes – Two-story single-family homes ranging from 2,400 to 2,800 square feet with four to five bedrooms. Prices start in the mid-$1Ms.*
- Lotus by Trumark Homes – Two-story single-family homes ranging from 2,700 to 3,100 square feet with three to five bedrooms and golf cart garages. Prices start in the mid-1Ms.*
- Arrowleaf by Shea Homes – Two-story single-family homes ranging from 3,300 to 3,900 square feet with four to five bedrooms. Prices start in the high-$1Ms.*
Attendees enjoyed a variety of food trucks, live music by Christy and The Coastal Cowboys, and various family-friendly crafts and activities. Representatives from The Nature Reserve also provided guests with a deeper understanding of the more than 20,000 acres of protected space that make Rancho Mission Viejo unique.
Rienda is the third village on The Ranch, and places special emphasis on nurturing neighborliness among all ages and life stages. Award-winning amenities, including Ranch Camp, Rienda Plunge, Boulder Pond and Playground, and more, create a vibrant social life in neighborhoods surrounded by the historic ranch and thousands of acres of the permanently protected open space within The Nature Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo. The village will also include a new school, Rienda TK-8, which is currently under construction and is slated to open in 2027.
The Village of Rienda is located less than five miles from downtown San Juan Capistrano and a fifteen-minute drive from San Clemente and Doheny State Beach, with easy access provided to the employment and retail centers of Ladera Ranch, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Irvine, and other Orange County areas.

Additional homes are set to make their way to The Ranch with the launch of Gavilán Ridge, the newest village on The Ranch exclusively for 55+ residents, which will open in early 2026 with 326 single level living homes.
