If Hublot rests its hat (wrist?) on one thing, it is the art of fusion. Famed for its innovation, the idea of bringing together different worlds is very much what fuels the Swiss watchmaker. Its latest regionally-focused release is exactly that, a fusion of thing, many different things.

In a tribute to a decades-long partnership with the UAE’s leading luxury watch retailer, Seddiqi, Hublot has unveiled two new special edition timepieces, distinguished by their rich, radiant burgundy colour, to honour the 75th anniversary of Ahmed Seddiqi. True to form, the new release (Classic Fusion Titanium Diamonds Seddiqi 75th Anniversary and the Classic Fusion Titanium Seddiqi 75th Anniversary) draw inspiration from Ahmed Seddiqi’s anniversary logo and feature design elements that pay homage to Emirati culture.

The central design element of both timepieces is the striking burgundy dial, directly inspired by the Ahmed Seddiqi 75th anniversary logo. This commemorative logo is also featured prominently at 12 o’clock on the dial. Adding a unique cultural tribute, the watches incorporate Eastern Arabic numerals and a movement that runs counter-clockwise, a refined nod to Arabic tradition that deepens Hublot’s connection with the UAE.

Crafted from polished and satin-finished titanium, a material highly favored in the region for its lightweight durability, the two Classic Fusion models combine modern elegance with regional relevance. The Classic Fusion Titanium Seddiqi 75th Anniversary features a 42mm dial with a sleek bezel and polished rhodium-plated hands. For a more luxurious touch, the Classic Fusion Titanium Diamonds Seddiqi 75th Anniversary is a 38mm edition with a bezel set with 36 white diamonds, totaling approximately 1.2 carats. Both special editions are powered by the HUB1105 self-winding movement, which offers a 42-hour power reserve.

David Tedeschi, Hublot Managing Director of Middle East, Africa, India and Latin America, noted that the partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi has been “instrumental in shaping Hublot’s journey in the United Arab Emirates,” contributing greatly to its success in the dynamic market. Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, CEO of Ahmed Seddiqi, expressed his pride in the collaboration, stating that the design “is inspired by our anniversary theme coupled with the use of titanium, which strongly resonates with collectors in the region”. He added that the launch is a “continuation of that shared legacy, and a symbol of our commitment to offering collectors unique creations”.
