The modern suit
During FW25 Men’s Fashion Week, the classic suit became a playground for bold experimentation. At the Louis Vuitton show, the silhouettes were characterized by asymmetrical cuts and innovative textures, blending streetwear with high fashion.
Dolce & Gabbana leaned into sharp tailoring with a Mediterranean flair, while Dior’s suits under Kim Jones showcased structured tailoring inspired by Christian Dior’s 1954 “H-Line” haute couture, prioritizing a minimalist aesthetic without logos.
Think pink
Traditionally associated with softness and femininity, Pink has been reimagined with a fresh, modern identity in men’s fashion. Dior presented powder-pink suits with clean cuts, adding a delicate touch to classic menswear.
At Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams introduced pink checkered cardigans, proving the colour works just as well in streetwear. Acne Studios and Bianca Saunders incorporated pink through checkered patterns and subtle accents. Whether on a blazer or a knit, pink this season is a statement of confidence. It may not be the new black yet, but it is undoubtedly one of this season’s strongest colours.
Flight mode
Who would have thought the aviator jacket would soar back into fashion? FW25 men’s trends embraced shearling collars, soft leathers, and that unmistakable military edge. Hermès, Auralee, and Dolce & Gabbana went all in on flight crew chic, while Prada’s rough-cut bombers brought a rebellious, indie-frontman vibe.
At Saint Laurent, Anthony Vaccarello softened the edges with leather blousons built for winter nights, proving this classic flies effortlessly between utility and cool.
Plaid power
Checks once again are dominating the season, proving they’ll never fade quietly into the background. Junya Watanabe channelled the lumberjack with bold red plaids and rugged workwear, while Ralph Lauren and Zegna offered polished, urbane interpretations.
Hermès blurred them into abstract art, subtle but striking. Amiri looked to the 1970s, infusing swagger and nostalgia. Big or small, bold or muted, checks offer a pattern for every personality this winter.
Oversized coats
The coat has firmly established itself as a key piece in the FW25 menswear wardrobe. Clean, crisp, and impossible to ignore, it dominated the runways.
Fendi showcased oversized fur coats that radiated luxury and sophistication, while Prada presented similarly oversized designs with fur collars and textured finishes, merging classic tailoring with avant-garde touches. Zegna added its own twist, with shearling collars offering a modern take on the timeless coat.
Relaxed silhouettes
Who said relaxed can’t be refined? FW25 men’s trends leaned into ease with wide trousers, roomy jackets, and drop shoulders that softened rigid tailoring.
Zegna doubled down, transforming knitwear into outerwear, layering for a luxe yet lived-in feel. Dior added cinched waists and draped shirts, elevating casual shapes with sensuality.
