Syrian actor Moatasem Al Nahar is set to take his first step into Egyptian cinema with the upcoming romantic drama “Hein Yaktob El Hob” (“When Love is Written”), which begins filming soon. The film brings together a stellar cast including Ahmed El Fishawy and Sawsan Badr.
Penned by Saja Mohammed Al-Khleifat and produced by Naif Abdullah with his first cinematic venture in Egypt; the film will be directed by Mohamed Hani. While Hani is no stranger to the industry, this will be his first full-length feature following multiple credits as a second unit director and short film creator.
Set in a romantic framework, the film promises a fresh and distinctive take on love and relationships in contemporary Arab cinema.
Al Nahar isn’t stopping at the silver screen, he’s also gearing up for his Egyptian TV debut in the upcoming drama series “Ana Enta.. Enta Mish Ana” (“I’m You… You’re Not Me”), co-starring Mirna Nour El Din.
