At this week’s Saudi International Rail 2025 exhibition, Siemens Mobility is highlighting how its end-to-end rail solutions can accelerate Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 transport objectives — from expanding high-speed, metro, and freight networks to advancing sustainable mobility across the Kingdom. The company’s participation is anchored under the theme, “Transform Mobility in Saudi Arabia.”

As a Diamond Sponsor of the event, held on 19–20 October at Roshn Front in Riyadh, Siemens Mobility is demonstrating its commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s ambitious rail expansion. The exhibition serves as a key platform to connect operators, share innovations, and drive collaboration between international technology leaders and local industry players.

Saudi Arabia’s national transport strategy aims to double the logistics sector’s GDP contribution and expand the railway network by more than 50 per cent, positioning the country as a global logistics hub. High-speed rail is already reshaping regional connectivity — enhancing trade, boosting tourism, and enabling fast, reliable public transport across the Kingdom.

With a long-established presence in Saudi Arabia, Siemens Mobility has played a key role in several milestone projects, including the GCC’s first ETCS Level 1 solution between Riyadh and Dammam, the Haramain High-Speed Railway, the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro Line, and the Riyadh Metro’s Red and Blue lines.

At the Saudi Rail event, Siemens Mobility is showcasing technologies tailored to Saudi Arabia’s evolving transport infrastructure, including the Velaro Novo high-speed platform, Railigent X for intelligent asset management, ATO over ETCS, Signaling X, Trainguard MT, and Siemens Xcelerator — its open, modular digitalisation platform.

Frank Hagemeier, CEO of Siemens Mobility for Saudi Arabia, said: “We are here to help operators add capacity rapidly and sustainably, with digital systems that increase safety, raise reliability, lower lifecycle costs, and improve the passenger experience. With our expanded local presence in Riyadh and a growing partner ecosystem, we are ready to support the Kingdom’s next wave of projects in line with Vision 2030.”

Siemens Mobility’s regional leadership team includes Léon Soulier, CEO of Middle East & Africa, and Hagemeier, who is also speaking at the conference. The company recently expanded its Riyadh office to enhance customer proximity, promote in-country value, and support the delivery of mega-projects — a move aligned with its broader localisation strategy.

Globally, Siemens Mobility operates over 30,000 trains and locomotives across more than 100 countries, transporting passengers over one billion kilometres daily. This global expertise, combined with a growing Saudi footprint, positions the company as a key partner in the Kingdom’s rail transformation.

Siemens Mobility is exhibiting at booth H1-G20 at Saudi International Rail 2025.
