UAE weather update: What to expect over the next few days

The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather outlook indicating generally stable conditions across the country over the coming days, with only limited disruptions expected from cloud cover, humidity, and occasional wind activity.

The forecast, which spans the next four days, suggests that businesses operating in aviation, maritime transport, construction, and logistics are unlikely to face significant weather-related challenges, although early-morning visibility conditions will require monitoring in select regions, a WAM report said.

According to the NCM, partly cloudy skies will dominate much of the period, accompanied by low cloud formation over islands and parts of western areas.

These conditions may be coupled with light rainfall at times, particularly during the early part of the forecast window. While rainfall is expected to remain light, the presence of humidity overnight and during early morning hours could lead to fog or mist formation, potentially affecting road and air travel during peak hours.

Winds are forecast to remain mostly light to moderate, becoming occasionally active during the daytime, particularly over northern areas. Wind speeds are expected to range between 15 and 25 km/hr, with gusts reaching up to 40 km/hr at times. Sea conditions are also expected to remain manageable, with moderate to slight conditions in the Arabian Gulf and slight conditions in the Sea of Oman, supporting continued maritime operations.

Conditions will remain partly cloudy, with low clouds appearing over islands and some western areas. Humidity is expected to increase at night and into Tuesday morning over western coastal and internal areas. Northeasterly to southeasterly winds will be light to moderate, freshening during the daytime, with speeds reaching up to 35 km/h. Sea conditions will be moderate to slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

    Tuesday, 23 December 2025

Partly cloudy weather will continue, with low cloud formation over islands and western areas. Humidity will persist overnight and into Wednesday morning, with a probability of mist formation in western regions. Winds will maintain similar patterns and speeds, while sea conditions remain slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf.

    Wednesday, 24 December 2025

Skies are expected to range from partly cloudy to cloudy at times. Humidity overnight may lead to fog or mist formation over some internal areas. Winds may freshen further, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf could become rough at times during the night.

    Thursday, 25 December 2025

Cloudy intervals will continue, with humid conditions overnight and into Friday morning. Winds will remain light to moderate, occasionally strengthening, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are forecast to range from rough to moderate.
