Fashion history was unequivocally made in Dubai last night as the city played host to a landmark event in the menswear industry, with ZEGNA presenting its Summer 2026 collection at the magnificent Dubai Opera. Not only was this the first time that ZEGNA showcased its collection outside of the traditional Milan Fashion Week calendar, but also the first global menswear show to be held in the UAE.
With the bright lights of Dubai picked as its destination, the highly-anticipated show unfolded at the iconic Dubai Opera on June 11, as ZEGNA transformed the space into a barely believable indoor oasis backdrop lined with sand and palm trees, as the world’s press gathered and gawped.

As anticipated, the event drew a dazzling array of local and regional luminaries, from esteemed celebrities to influential personalities, all gathered to witness this significant moment in men’s fashion. Among the distinguished guests were the renowned Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen, whose presence underscored the crossover appeal of such a high-profile event.

Alongside him was as a slew of Esquire cover alumni including the prominent Emirati entrepreneur and interviewer, Anas Bukhash, known for his insightful conversations and widespread regional influence.
Tunisian actor Dhafer L’abidine, celebrated for his captivating performances across the Arab world, and Syrian actor Qays Sheikh Najib, another beloved figure from regional television and film. Their collective attendance highlighted the fusion of global luxury with the burgeoning cultural landscape of the Middle East.

Adding another layer of allure to the evening, the show featured a captivating performance by the acclaimed British artist, James Blake, whose unique sound provided a compelling, atmospheric soundtrack to the unfolding runway spectacle, weaving a live artistic element into the haute couture display.

This unforgettable show not only presented a visionary collection but also solidified Dubai’s rapidly growing stature as a global fashion destination, unequivocally demonstrating its capacity to host and inspire the world’s most prestigious luxury brands.
