Fashion history was made in Dubai today as the city played host to a landmark event in the Menswear industry – with Zegna presenting its Summer 2026 collection at the Dubai Opera.
Forget the runway, this was Zegna going on a global journey, collection outside of the traditional Milan Fashion Week calendar for the very first time.
With the bright lights of Dubai picked as its destination, the highly-anticipated show unfolded at the iconic Dubai Opera on June 11, with Zegna transforming the space into a barely believable backdrop filled with sand and palm trees, as the world’s press gathered and gawped.
The move saw the brand bring its celebrated ‘Made in Italy’ collection directly to the Dubai stage, sharing its centuries-long history and sartorial excellence with a vibrant, brand new audience.
Ahead of the show, Chairman and CEO of ZEGNA, Gildo Zegna, told Esquire that the decision to host its show in Dubai was because: “Today, luxury is about movement, evolution, and embracing new perspectives.” Making Dubai the perfect place for Zegna to tell the next chapter of its story.
As expected, the event attracted a dazzling array of local and regional celebrities and influencers, all gathered to witness this significant moment in men’s fashion.
Adding to the evening’s allure, the show featured a captivating performance by the acclaimed British artist, James Blake, providing a compelling soundtrack to the runway spectacle.
An unforgettable show that solidifies Dubai’s growing stature as a global fashion destination, demonstrating its capacity to host and inspire the world’s most prestigious luxury brands.
